Intercurrent Remedy Psorinum 30x, 4 hourly (3 Doses).

Select the remedy that most closely matches the symptoms. In conditions where self-treatment is appropriate, unless otherwise directed by a physician, a lower potency (6X, 6C, 12X, 12C, 30X, or 30C) should be used. In addition, instructions for use are usually printed on the label.

I suggest that remedies be used as follows: Take one dose and wait for a response. If improvement is seen, continue to wait and let the remedy work. If improvement lags significantly or has clearly stopped, another dose may be taken. The frequency of dosage varies with the condition and the individual. Sometimes a dose may be required several times an hour; other times a dose may be indicated several times a day; and in some situations, one dose per day (or less) can be sufficient.

If no response is seen within a reasonable amount of time, select a different remedy.

I'm sorry you're still suffering. I've had acid reflux for 1 year, haven't used any over the counter drugs or prescriptions as I wanted to deal with it naturally with diet, herbs and supplements. I finally figured out the issue after 9 months of going through my food allergies. It ended up being a sugar and dairy issue.

OldTimeKid2 has some great recommendations, I use DGL, aloe and pro biotic with good results.

But I would seriously advise that you see a naturopath/herbalist/nutritionist who can evaluate your situation and offer a proper plan for you to follow. They can help you find the trigger foods, not necessarily the common ones you see on the Gerd web sites.

Going off reflux meds should not be taken lightly.

Pure encapsulations has a product called DGL Plus. It contains DGL, Slippery Elm, Marshmallow root and Plantain banana. I've tried this combo from other companies but for some reason I have found for me and others that this brand does the best job. I take it after meals if I feel I will have reflux. It sooths and reduces it. I've also recommended it to take before meals as well as it helps coat and protect the stomach and esophagus while you have a higher acid environment while digestion is going on.

Wow,

Aciphex & zantac & your still having that much problems,, you poor thing. Sorry to hear that. Well, I don't know that this will help everything but it helps me allot & my son & we both have GI problems & I know my father in law has IBS & he uses it. We all use Acidophilus. You can buy it at walmart near the vitamins, I get the chewable ones, keep them in the frig & eat one with meals 3xs a day. It helps keep the good germs up in your GI tract & if your constipated it helps or if your running to the bathroom every 5 mins it helps so good either way.

Hope it helps,, hope you get to feeling better soon.

I have to agree with OldTimeKid2.

For a probiotic I use BioGaia Probiotic chewable tablet- Gut Health. It is medical grade and actually gets to the small intestine- unlike a lot of the other probiotics out there they usually don't make it and is a waste of money.

Whenever I order BioGaia (I usually order two boxes which last for two months) it will come literally the next day via UPS if I order before 6pm Central Time and that is with standard free shipping!

Good luck!

There are a few supplements that can help with the stomach and digestion like that.

First, Probiotics and fiber are the best thing for IBS. The fiber helps to keep things moving normally and the Probiotics help to balance out the intestinal flora to help with regularity even more. My mom and brother both have IBS and they notice a marked improvement after even just a few days once they start taking Probiotics.

As far as the reflux, there are a few things that can help. There are simple things like DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice) that help to coat and soothe the stomach lining, Aloe Vera that helps to heal any tissue it touches (like the stomach and digestive tract), and Ginger can also help just soothe the stomach in general.

Now, if you're taking as much as the Aciphex and Zantac and still not getting help, those may not be what you need. Personally, I would suggest stopping one of them (after starting the DGL/Aloe and Probiotics) and see if the reflux gets worse... if it doesn't within a week (for more than a day), the drug wasn't working for you. If it gets worse for more than a day, start taking it again. After a week trial for the first one, try the same thing with the other.

Oh, and with the bloating and constipation, that may be because of the Zantac. Zantac (and any other form of Ranitidine) literally stops your stomach from producing acid... if you don't have stomach acid, you can't digest your food (which could cause bloating, indigestion, and constipation). Drugs.com also lists constipation, nausea, and stomach pain as common side effects of it for the same reason.

Whether you stop using Zantac or not, you could also try taking a good enzyme complex to at least help a little with the digestion to minimize that impact.

Regardless of your choices, I wish you good luck!

I think you might want to try Mona Vie. Its a healthy, organic juice drink. While making your body healthier overall, it can overcome acid reflux disease, relieve the symptoms of Crohn's disease, heals ulcers and improves digestion...it tastes good too.

hope that helps.
