For this you have to take your dinner between 6 to 7. Because it helps to digest food and before you go to your bed your dinner get digested.

For that you have to take your dinner early and it is very helpful in many ways. If you take your dinner early the nit will get time to metabolized and that does not cause a problem of acidity. If you take your dinner and after some time you go to bed then all food you take in dinner does not get enough time to metabolized and all comes at upper level and that causes acid. So take your dinner early and do not take more spicy food in your dinner.

Acid reflux or heartburn can be avoided by the right diet.
Heartburn foods to avoid (the trigger for this varies from person to person)
Meats.
Fats, Oils & Sweets.
Fruits, Vegetables & Juice.
Other Beverages. alcohol, tea or coffee
Grains.
Dairy
Spicy foods
garlic and onion

with all of the good suggestions in this thread, the best thing to do still is that you make sure that you get a check up for it with the doctor as it may signal that something maybe is wrong inside of you.
