Default Hair loss prevention?

I'm 18 and was recently diagnosed with Male pattern Baldness, I'm currently taking Propecia once a day to try to stop it. Is there anything else I can do? I have already considered surgery if it gets any worse.

Do not wear hats! they increase hair loss. don't bleach your hair, dont wash your hair tooooo often, try not to stress and eat foods that are good for hair. i take vitamin E suppliments to make my hair thicker and shinier. I used to shed like a dog. its impoved now.

I don't know of any other method other than Rogaine or surgery. I hope you won't need the surgery, it appears to be expensive. But they will transplant hair that will regrow. It might be well worth it.

Nowadays hair loss is common problem among the people because of the stressful life. there are some tips to prevent hair loss such as follow healthy lifestyle, massage with coconut oil, do not tie your hair, wash your hair with cold water.

If people are aware of the reasons of hair loss, they can prevent it. here are some:
HORMONAL
Childbirth
Birth control pills
DISEASE OR ILLNESS
High fever, severe infection, severe flu
Thyroid disease.
Deficient diet
Medications
Cancer treatments
low serum iron
major surgery/chronic illness
Alopecia Areata
Fungus Infection (Ringworm) of the scalp
Stress
MECHANICAL DAMAGE
Trichotillomania or Hair Pulling
Hair Styling Treatments
Hair Braids/Weaves

Some food that are good for your hair. Fish, eggs and beans
Hair is primarily made of protein and, therefore, it makes sense to eat a protein-rich diet if you’re trying to maintain your healthy hair. However, eating a steak every day isn’t going to help you. High-fat diets will result in increased testosterone levels, which has been linked to hair loss -- so steaks are not among the foods that prevent hair loss. Stick to leaner proteins such as fish (which has a myriad of health benefits beyond just maintaining your hair), chicken, calf’s liver, brewer’s yeast, low-fat cheese, eggs, almonds, beans, and yogurt. Soy milk and tofu are also smart to add to your diet because they are high in protein and low in bad fats.

There are many ways of hair loss prevention.You must avoid the taking stress and protect against direct sunrays and pollution.You must avoid to take high dose medicine and antibiotics.

The best way to reduce hair loss is take hair massage with coconut oil or olive oil. These oil are good for hairs and give the proper nutrition to our hairs.
You should take healthy diet to get enough protein for hairs.
You should take less stress as much as possible.
choose the best natural shampoo for hairs and take advise of your family doctor or nearest doctor.

DEPILATORY AGENTS
