Default Can you take imodium soon after drinking alcohol?

Cant find anywhere that says you cant...does anyone know? Heavy night out and usually end up with dodgy tummy so trying to avoid it.

Depends on how much you had to drink. In any case it's not going to help with a dodgy tummy. It merely postpones the inevitable diarrhoea by bunging you up solid and making any gut ache you have even worse.Andrews Liver Salts usually works for me,but you're still going to have to face lavatorial incarceration the next day!

Just let nature take it's course....dump it all out...if the body needed it...then it would all stay in, wouldn't it....????

Let it go. You'll feel better that way!!!!

if ur taking it to counteract the effects of drinking too much then its likely just to make u sick instead if u take too much alcohol then your body has to get rid of it somehow.

Well, one of the reasons why you might have your tummy problems is either because of the food you ate or the liquid that you drink. Too much alcohol may cause dehydration sometimes because you have to pee a lot and dehydration can sometimes cause tummy problems.
