Default Lasix with head trama?

are you asking why they give it for that?? if so, it is to keep the intracranial pressure down... in other words, to keep the brain from filling up with too much fluid!

it is good but not just after the trauma because after head trauma there may be hypotension so we cant use lasix

but after the CT is done and there is cerebral oedema we can use it at once

just after the head trauma we can use 100 mg hydrocortisone iv injection to decrease intracranial pressure
