Threw up this morning, taking glucophage and only ate a couple spoons of cheerios this morning for breakfast. I was feeling EXTREMELY nauseous in class and had to excuse myself and threw up in the female's restroom. Could it be I didn't eat enough or it's because I drank milk and am not suppose to drink milk with glucophage?

Nausea and vomitting are common side effcects of glucophage. I do not think that the milk had anything to do with it.

Like the girl above said....one of the side-effects of glucophage is nausea. It will get better in a couple of weeks once your body gets used to it. Its a matter of time.
Until then...patience and good luck! |

I agree with the other two. Eating doesn't have anything to do with it. Nausea is a side effect. I was takin' 1500 mg at one point. It will go away eventually, that is why most doctors work up to a higher dose, and doesn't put you on a high dose right away.
