I'm a certified pharmacy tech and have worked in the pharmacy for 6 years and I have NEVER heard of anyone using Glucophage to correct a hormonal imbalance. It is used in patients with Type II diabetes to regulate the blood sugar by helping your body respond properly to the insulin you produce. The only way I can see you using it is if you are diabetic and your illness has caused problems with your sexual health. Then regulating your blood sugar will help improve those problems. But NOT just for hormonal imbalances.

I'm not taking glucophage (metformin) but, I am curious to know why your physician has prescribed an oral anti-glycemic agent to you for hormone imbalance. This is a drug that is usually prescribed to individuals with Type II Diabetes for the regulation of blood sugar. I know that some clinical trials have shown that this drug also decreases the testosterone that is produced by the ovaries, and as a result, has been somewhat helpful for women with polycystic ovarian syndrome. As a result, normal menstrual cycles usually resume within six months of therapy.

I' m technology of the pharmacy which is proven with 6 annual pharmacy it worked, as for, I using Glucophage, in order never to correct hormone characteristic imbalance hearing anyone and without being. You use for the insulin which you who answer that the blood glucose is adjusted with the assistance of your body with the patient who has type II diabetes securely create. When it is the diabetes characteristic to which I have used that and your sickness causes your characteristic problem healthily, the only method of being possible to look at that is. Then adjusting your blood glucose helps the improvement of those problems. But exactly for hormone characteristic imbalance.
