Try biking. It burns for a while at first but you soon get used to it.

Somewhere it can be absolute hell. My legs will start shaking like they're about to give out. I really need to do something about it. What exercises (without weights) can I do to help make my legs stronger so i run longer.

Strength training helps your body better deal with the stresses of running. Your muscles will be able to perform longer before getting fatigued, which means you can go for more miles. All it takes is two or three 15 to 20 minutes strength-training sessions a week to build more muscle mass.

You should focus on strengthening your legs while working out. You can take an energy drink as well.
