Policosinol, Red Yeast Rice, Apple Pectin, Tumeric, Pomegranate, Garlic, Phytosterols......there are so many natural, proven, safe and effective supplements out there for cholesterol that it is CRIMINAL you haven't been informed about them by your health care practitioners.

To lower your cholesterol levels, eat the foods that are high in fibre but low in fats, Stop frying your food as it takes away all the vitamins from the vegetables, start exercising every day, use olive oil for vegetables.

Reduce cholesterol level is most important to stay healthy and well. Here are some tips and diet to lower the cholesterol:

Eat a low-fat diet like vegetables, fruit, fish, cereals and nuts to lower cholesterol.
Avoid foods high in saturated fats like meat.
Drink apple cider vinegar with tea.
Take red rice yeast and omega-3 supplements together every day.
Exercise regularly. It stimulates enzymes that help remove LDL cholesterol from the blood by sending it to the liver for excretion.

well, unless your doctor tells you that you need it, don't take any kind of supplement regardless of whatever ad you may have seen about it. be sure that you consult a professional about it first.
