These are the things you ask your doctor about. Just go and ask him or her and they will be able to tell you if you can still consume alcohol and take this medication. My guess would be you can't.

No. I had a stroke a few years ago, (and I was only 30!!!) they had me on Plavix and Aspirin....I still went out and had a drink or two every now and then...Did you have a stroke and that is why you are on it??
My doctor never said that it was bad, never warned me about anything like that...Plavix is a blood thinner...so if anything, keep your alcohol level to a minimum,as you do not want your blood too thin...that's not good... |

Read the warning and usage sheet that comes with it. If you don't have one you can request another from the pharmacist.

I would say occasional drinking of beer does no harm but excessive drinking of it in the long run can cause serious health complications . Beer is necessarily a social drink, so you need to control its intake to avoid undesirable consequences on your health, family and social life. The rich taste and flavor can really give you pleasure while watching a TV program or while spending time with friends.
