Yes, it's very good for asthma. I take it every night and have been for about 3 years...Its a slow process though and it may be a while before you see a lot of difference in your breathing, but it will help I promise!

It's also good for seasonal allergies as well

Totally agree with will on this one, I too have asthma and took singulair for years. I KNOW it works esp since I lost my insurance and cant afford it now and had to stop taking it thus I have ALOT more asthma attacks now. But hopefully I can get it back someday. And my husband makes to much money for me to get ANY assistance to get it at low cost. oh well. GREAT MEDICATION!!!

Yes Singulair is effective for asthma. That means you can breathe a little easier while doing the things you want to do.Singulair has worked wonders for both their allergy and asthma symptoms without side effects such as agitation, anger, or sleep disturbances.

Singulair acts by blocking the effects of a group of chemical compounds known as leukotrienes. When these compounds interact with receptors on the lungs, they cause the airways to constrict which lead to the symptoms of asthma. It helps to control both asthma and allergy symptoms but it's more effective for preventing asthma than it is treating a sudden asthma attack.

Singulair has worked well for a couple of us in my family with asthma, although most of the time now we no longer need it. We found out we have food sensitivities and stopping those foods actually helped our asthma.

Yes,
Singulair is affective for asthama.
It is a well known statement that if any one suffers from asthama , the relaxation is only in Singulair.
