Having said that, drugs.com does not state that alcohol cannot be consumed. It indicates that you should avoid products such as Rolaids.

I know exactly what zithromax is, and I am telling you now, do not drink alcohol with it. I knew a guy who took some cough syrup and then drank thinking he was perfectly safe, and he died. It's just not safe to mix medicines with alcohol. Don't take the chance.. It's better to be safe than to be sorry!

Yes yes you can. I have asked CVS, and Rite AID many of times. You just need to remember that Zpac will make your stomach upset. I know this because Z-pack is the only antibiotic that im allowed to take and I asked my doctor and pharmacy last year on my birthday because I was on it.

No you cannot drink alcohol on Zithromax. It will definitely work against it. Alcohol changes the efficacy of antibiotics.
