Default When to stop useing Zovirax?

I've had been using zovirax 2g cream for 4 days, and more began to develop yesterday! I went to the Doctor and received 10g cream and the pill Zovirax. However, the few cold sores that have scabbed don't really absorb the cream, instead the cream just sits on top of the dry scab....So is there any point applying the cream to the scabs?

Yes, keep using it as directed. Make sure u wash your hands after applying to each cold sore as they seem to be spreading. If you get a cotton bud and apply a very small amount of vaseline around the drying ones then your zovirax on top of it it may help seal it. Use may try taking a course of Lysine which can help prevent continuous attacks of the virus check with your dr. first when you go back for your check up. Take Care

Follow your doctor's instructions about how and when to use ZOVIRAX eye ointment.
I do about every four hours while you are awake - ZOVIRAX eye ointment is applied is usually five times a day. Below how to apply them to learn to see.
Out of the tube eye ointment or eye ointment as not touch the nozzle. Dhoni as its full hands with soap and water and thoroughly dry before applying eye ointment.
Look at your finger under the lid, slowly under the skin below the eye opens lid comes down between the eye and eye lid as a small pocket. Development of 10mm (1cm, slightly less than half an inch) of ointment into the pocket. And eyes (stop pulling it) cover released some time around the eye blink to spread ointment.

I have experienced this afore with valtrex but in the accomplished it was cumulative. I had some samples of zovirax balm so I approved that and by this time blisters had already formed.

As long as you still have your doctor's permission, you can continue taking this medicine..
