vinegar, on a pad blot the spot let it dry then get your cheap walmart triple antibiodic cream(2.00) and apply with a q-tip DO NOT go outward.

start from the outer edge and work your way in to the ring, if you go from the inside to the out you will spread it farther, it is very contagous.

make sure you wash your hands with dish soap or antibacterial soap every time you get contact with it. the vinegar will most likely burn when applied, but the burning is the sign of killing it.

rule of thub, when in doubt on anything use vinegar, you can apply it locally, ingest it, and pretty much do anything with it. its a mircle medicine. and if drank daily in small doses(1/4V + 1/4 water) it can help lose weight!

Aside from nizoral, there are also other creams that can help cure ringworms and other skin diseases. One should take into consideration that proper hygiene is the top most prevention method so that one can have healthy skin.

Here are some of the things you can consider
Topical antifungal drugs
Ketoconazole-containing medicines
Nizoral shampoo
Hydrochloride cream
Oral Lamisil and Griseofulvin

The Nizoral is a good ointment for topical fungal infection. Although applying the cream is not enough, you should make sure that the infected part doesn't comes in continuous contact with water or sweat. Some antiperspirant powders can be helpful. Also avoid rubbing or scratching of the infected region.

I think you should ask your doctor first for the right medications to treat ring worm from kids.

Here are some more home remedies that you can use for ring worms:
Tip 1: Rub a slice of freshly cut raw Papaya on the patch.
Tip 2: Make a powder with Mustard seeds. Add some water and make a paste. Apply on the patch till it clears up.
Tip 3: The juice of Holy basil leaves to be applied on the patch 2-3 times.
