Yes!!!! Depakote will make you gain weight. Talk to your psych. and have them put you on an alternative like Tegretol or Effexor. I lost 30 lbs. just stopping this medication with out trying. You will see a big difference esp. if you are trying to loose weight. Good Luck!!!
