Check with your pharmacist to be sure, but since they both have a side effect of drowsiness, I doubt they'd keep you awake.

To the best of my knowledge, Lamictal is absolutely contraindicated while taking Depakote as the two together tremendously increases the chance of Lamictal's potentially lethal side-effect -- SJS - Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
Doctors generally will not even cross-titrate the two, but rather, have the person completely withdraw from one before even starting the other. This can be really rough as some people experience terrible withdrawal side-effects from decreasing Lamictal (possibly Depakote as well, but I am not as familiar with Depakote withdrawal). no! don't ever take lamictal when you are taking depakote.. it is definitely not advisable..
