Default Allergies, Food sensitivities, mental diagnoses

Here is an INTERVIEW with the author of the book "It's Not Mental" on a food sensitivity site. The interview is the mother's perspective about BOTH daughters - not just the one the book is about. Both the kids had allergy problems both were diagnosed separately with severe mental illnesses - one with bipolar and one with a schizophrenia.

Thanks for sharing the link. The book looks very inspirational and it gives courage to other readers that can relate to the case of the author.

Oh God!!

The positive here is that both her children were cured of "bipolar", but it took 13 years.

Some ideas that come to mind are outside, wear a pollen mask. Inside, have an electrostatic filter on central airconditioning. Use a vacuum with hepa filter or something else that will help. We had very hypoallergenic bedrooms - with mattresses and pillows encased in hypoallergenic covering.

Also, some allergy meds may help such as Zyrtec or Singulair or Allegra.

Or, sometimes food supplements may help such as Boswellia, nettle, quercetin, fish oil....

And of course, the usual disclaimer applies - always consult with the physician before changing anything.

OK, so here is more ... about gluten and casein in SOME people, and it isn't even a true "allergy". It has a link to a lab that does a specific type of test for it.
