If the chemist or doctor said it was okay to take them together, I would do it. If not, I would take the pills two hours apart to give the first medicine time to digest.

I would ask a pharmacist. We don't know what would happen medically to you if you combine these medications, where a pharmacist would be able to tell you if this can be done.

Atarax by itself produces drowsiness. Also, they are both antihistamines so you would increase risk of dry mouth, blurred vision, fast heaqrt rate, urinary retention and constipation. You may need to have your anxiety med evaluated. Unisom will only work for a few days. I do not recommend taking them within 4 hours of each other. Rozerem is the safest Rx sleep aid.

I think it's always best to play it safe and ask your doctor. While it doesn't seem like they should interact with each other, you never know. Another person to ask would be a pharmacist. If you get your prescriptions from one place, the pharmacist will usually see what you are taking and advice you on possible side effects from the interactions.
